Thanks, Tom, for the plug on the film. It really does a beautiful job of capturing the work Dustin and the rest of the Trout Unlimited team in West Virginia (and Virginia, too!) is doing.

Tom, great blog as always. I just sat in a TU meeting in the NRV that shared data about stream quality in VA. Things are improving more in SWVA, but there is emerging concern about water temperature. I saw that film and loved it. To catch a brook trout 12+ would be a special moment in my life. If you are looking for some company pursuing it...count me in.

A 24" brook trout would be an achievement for angler and restoration/conservation! A good goal to have!

Cramer tells tales of big brookies in Mossy many moons ago. That would be so cool. Truth be told, I'm still stoked to find a 10" one in our mountain streams. But dreams are what keep my shoulder to the wheel.
